if youre talking about any peice of melt such as a BOLT or anything like that (small) you can use lime juice and rust will come off. let the metal sit in lime juice for a while and then clean off. rust should be gone.

if youre talking about a car you should cut or saw peice of metal where car is rusty at and weld in a new peice of metal. simple but will take long.
