under the driver side dash, you should be able to remove the panel with a 7mm socket look for the cobra "brain" small black box with wiring coming out of it. if you unplug it you will need to reconnect the starter wire if there is a starter kill installed. unplug the brain then try starting the car if it starts you are done if not then there will be a yellow or purple wire in the main harness of the car, wires that come from key cylinder it will have been cut and run to a relay it needs to be reconnected to itself and then your alarm is perm. disabled
