Some vehicles allow you to turn off the chime by navigating to the seat belt settings and selecting the option to disable the warning. If your vehicle doesn't have a built-in option, you might need to consult the owner's manual or seek assistance from a dealership or a professional mechanic. To disable the seat belt chime on a 2011 Hyundai Sonata, first, ensure the vehicle is in the "On" position without starting the engine. Fasten and unfasten the driver's seat belt three times, ending with the belt unfastened. After the third unfastening, the chime should stop; you may hear a confirmation chime. If done correctly, the seat belt reminder chime will remain disabled until the battery is disconnected or the procedure is repeated.
Once you put your seat belt on and buckle it the chime will go off. If it does not then take the car to the dealer for warranty repair.
