Open the drain on the left side (driver's side) of the radiator. It is best reached from underneath. This will drain the radiator, most the heater and maybe half of the engine block. To drain the entire system the block drains have to be removed which is not practical in many cases because they are not easily accessible.
The radiator drain plug on a 2002 Chevy Impala is typically located at the bottom of the radiator, on the driver's side. It may be a small plastic or metal valve that you can turn to release coolant. Be sure to have a container ready to catch the coolant when you open the drain plug. Always ensure the engine is cool before attempting to drain the radiator to avoid burns.
Just beneath the lower radiator hose is the drain.

Remove the drain plug from the bottom of your 2002 Chevy Camaro radiator. Allow the coolant to drain out into a container. When all the coolant is drained out replace the drain plug to its original position. Fill the radiator with new coolant.

There is a plastic drain valve on one of the bottom corner's of the radiator (facing engine) open valve and properly catch & dispose of coolant that comes out. You may need to use pliers to loosen drain valve. Tighten by hand.
To drain the coolant from a 2002 VT750DC Shadow Spirit, first ensure the engine is cool. Locate the coolant drain bolt at the bottom of the water pump or the radiator, depending on your configuration. Place a container underneath to catch the coolant, then remove the drain bolt and allow the coolant to flow out completely. After draining, reinsert the drain bolt and refill the system with fresh coolant.
The 2002 Tacoma engine block will have two coolant drain plugs on each side of the block. The coolant drain plugs will be near the front and the rear of the engine block.
