To remove a breech plug, first ensure the firearm is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction. Use a specialized breech plug wrench or a suitable tool to grip the plug firmly. Turn the plug counterclockwise to unscrew it; if it's stuck, you may need to apply some penetrating oil and let it sit before attempting to turn it again. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for your specific firearm model to avoid damage.

Depending on the maker you can remove the breech plug and of course the sights and underlug. It is not an easy task to remove the plug and without proper tools usually results in a buggered up barrel or plug. You would need a barrel vise and a breech plug wrench, some heat and penetrating oil. I would recommend taking it to a gunsmith in your area.
Impossible to answer via the internet. Take it to a gunsmith.
Nope. You can try welding it in (I heard of a few who tried that) but it becomes more difficult to clean. H&R changed the design just because of that reason. The new model has threaded breech.
