To install a belt on a 42'' Murray mowing deck, first, ensure the mower is turned off and disconnected from the power source. Remove the deck from the mower by detaching the pins or bolts securing it. Once the deck is removed, locate the old belt and note its routing; then, remove it from the pulleys. Install the new belt by following the same path as the old one, ensuring it sits properly in the pulleys, and reassemble the deck back onto the mower.
An example of a compound prepositional phrase in a sentence is "She walked down the street and into the park." In this sentence, "down the street" and "into the park" are both compound prepositional phrases because they each consist of more than one prepositional phrase combined together to provide more detail about the action of walking.
Remove the spark plug and try to pull start it. With the spark plug out try to manually rotate the blade. If the blade rotates, the mower is not locked up. It is possible there is something wrong with the recoil starter. Sometimes the float in the carburetor gets stuck open and gas will fill the cylinder, this will not allow you to pull the starting rope. With the spark plug removed pull the starting rope hard this will push out any excess fuel in the cylinder. Put the spark plug back in and try to start it.
Just remove it from the machine, connect the wire back to it and lay it on the area around the spark plug hole. Or on anything metal. Just position it so you can see the end while you are pulling the cord or turning the key.

TO CHANGE ENGINE OIL NOTE: Before tipping lawn mower to drain oil, drain fuel tank by running engine until fuel tank is empty. 1. Disconnect spark plug wire from spark plug and place wire where it cannot come in contact with spark plug. 2. Remove engine oil cap; lay aside on a clean surface. 3. Tip lawn mower on its side as shown and drain oil into a suitable container. Rock lawn mower back and forth to remove any oil trapped inside of engine. 4. Pull the spark plug wires off the spark plugs. Remove the spark plugs with a spark plug socket. Install the new spark plugs and put the spark plug wires back on. I recomend replacing the spark plug wires as well. If replacing them, just remember that the new wires are hooked up the same ways that the old ones came off.
take the spark plug out of the head. then put the spark plug wire back on the spark plug. ground the plug on the engine you can do this by putting the plug any where there is metal and lay it on it. then turn engine over and see if you have spark. if not then do the same thing with just the wire by putting a Philips screw driver in place of the plug, ground it turn over the engine see if there is a spark if their is the plug is bad. if not then the coil or flywheel is bad more than likely it is the coil

The dog house on your recoil is broken or stuck. It's the thing that pops out and engages the shaft when you pull on it, it goes back in when you release the rope.
