By "exhaust manifold sensor" do you mean the O2 or oxygen sensor? The only sensor I know of on a exaust manifold is the O2 sensor and if you follow the manifold you will see 2 sensors sticking out they will have (usually) green wires coming from them

O2 sensors are located in the exhaust system. They may be on the exhaust manifold down to the muffler. I haven't seen any past that but you never know.

I bought a 2000 tj three years ago with a cracked exhaust manifold (dealer said it was a exhaust gasket on down pipe). Cost $98 at O'Reileys. I replaced the exhaust manifold in my drive way with a 119 piece Craftsman tool set in 4 hours. Two years of use and it too has cracked so I am going to see if I can beat the 4 hour mark now that I know how to do it.

LX or LX-i? If you have an actual LX with a carb, you don't have an O2 sensor. If you have a fuel-injected LX-i, it's screwed into the front of the exhaust manifold. You know that thing sticking out of the exhaust manifold with the wire coming out of it? That's it!

Don't know about the 4-cyl for certain, but the diagram of the 4-Cyl in my Haynes repair manual shows one exhaust manifold, so I'm guessing there would be one. The best way to determine this would be to examine the exhaust manifold. On my truck, this is easiest from below the car On my '94 6-Cyl there are two. They are located on the small end of the exhaust manifold. They can be most easily seen from underneath the truck near the transmission where the manifold connects to the exhaust. They look like a silver tube about 3" long sticking out of the manifold and have a 4 connector cable coming from the end.
How do you know if the injectors not working on a f350?
Feel the exhaust manifold at each cylinder as it is running, if an injector isn't working the manifold at that cylinder exhaust port won't get hot. Some of those Ford diesels had a problem with the electrical connection where the injector harness passes through the valve covers.
