For my 2000 model 1500, there are 2 sensors. one went bad on mine, located on the "pumkin" of the rear axle. the symptoms were erratic speedometer readings and the idiot light for the antilock brakes came on. seems this sensor data also feeds the computer for the antilock brakes. in actuality, the sensor didn't break. it works on magnetics, and the metal shavings inside the axle fouled it up. had to change the axle oil too.
