There are many formulas out there. I use:
-1/3 WD-40
-1/3 Toluene
-1/3 Alcohol
Optional: 1/10 Acetone
I only use it prior to important events since every time you use it you will need to use more and more the next time. I would apply 3 coats within a day using a brush. Give it 48 hours to dry before racing.
