ktm recommend you use a 10w30 oil for the 2 stroke and you will need 0.75 litres make sure you get all the old oil out though otherwise you will overfill it and that can be as bad as under filling it ..
For a KTM EXC 450, the recommended oil capacity is typically around 1.1 to 1.3 liters (about 1.2 quarts) when changing the oil and oil filter. Always consult the owner's manual for the specific model year, as capacities can vary slightly. It's crucial to use the right type of oil, usually a high-quality synthetic oil suitable for off-road motorcycles, to ensure optimal performance and engine protection.
For a 1996 KTM 250 EXC, the recommended fuel mix ratio is typically 32:1, which means 32 parts of fuel to 1 part of 2-stroke oil. This equates to using approximately 4 ounces of oil per gallon of gasoline. Always check the owner's manual or consult a KTM dealer for specific recommendations, as variations may exist based on local conditions or modifications.
The 2004 KTM 250 EXC typically requires about 400 ml of fork oil per leg for its front forks, but this can vary slightly depending on individual setup preferences. Always consult the owner's manual or service manual for the specific model for the most accurate information. Additionally, ensure you use the recommended type and viscosity of fork oil for optimal performance.
