When engine is cold, turn it counter-clockwise. You can use channel locks if you can't turn it by hand. ENSURE ENGINE IS NOT HOT!!!
There is not a radiator cap, there is a coolant reservoir and it has a plastic cap that controls the pressure in the coolant circuit.
To add coolant in a Mercedes C240, first, ensure the engine is cool to avoid burns. Open the hood and locate the coolant reservoir, typically marked with a cap labeled "Coolant." Remove the cap and add the appropriate type of coolant mixed with water (if necessary) until it reaches the recommended level indicated on the reservoir. Finally, securely replace the cap and check for any leaks before closing the hood.
On a 1999 Mercedes CLK 320, the coolant tank is located in the engine compartment, typically on the driver's side near the front of the vehicle. It is a translucent plastic reservoir with a cap, allowing you to easily check the coolant level. To access it, you may need to open the hood and look for the tank marked with a coolant symbol or label.
To add coolant fluid to a 1999 Mercedes Benz CLK 430, open the hood and locate the coolant reservoir, which is typically a translucent plastic tank near the front of the engine bay. Remove the cap from the reservoir and pour the appropriate coolant mixture (typically a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and water) into the tank until it reaches the "MAX" line. Always check the coolant level when the engine is cold to avoid burns and ensure proper filling. After adding coolant, securely replace the cap before closing the hood.
open the radiator cap, find the plug at the bottom right of the radiator and open it to drain old coolant

You have to open it with your hand even though there's no place to grab it
