Its a simple fix.....have had this happen to multiple of times since i use my car a few times
1. take a paper clip, open it in to a u shape, plug it on both ends of C3 fuse. Now be smart, take a jumper cable, connect red to middel of paper clip, and negative (usually black to ground (left side to you, doors open, bare metal). connect the other side of jumper cable to appropriate positive and negative cable. Insert key in the door lock, play around with it at the same time pulling the latch to open the hood......it worked.
2. take a long standard screwdriver, insert in the middle of front and back latch handles, there is this middle u shape thing (not shure what it is) but play a little juggling the dang thing, while you are doing that, pull up on the front hood lever...worked too.
honestly, i tried the 9 volt battery and cables from auto store, did not work for me
