Not sure of the exact size bolt you need but I believe they're metric threads. On the outer face of the drum you should see two holes, opposite the hub of each other. You take two bolts, ( just guesstimate and get a few different sets from a hardware store ) and thread them in the holes. Slowly, alternating each bolt 1/2 turn, tighten them into the drum with the proper wrench, Eventually it will pull the drum off the hub.
Remove the wheels, pry the drums off.
It could have either.
to remove drums
To remove the rear drums on a 2003 Ford Windstar, start by safely lifting the vehicle and removing the rear wheels. Then, locate the drum's retaining screws, if present, and remove them. If the drum is stuck, you may need to adjust the brake shoes inward using the adjuster wheel or gently tap the drum with a hammer to loosen it. Once free, pull the drum straight off the hub, taking care not to damage the brake components.
Under the rear seat there is an access door to get to the fuel pump.
brake drums should pull off if not rusted on.
I worked on a 2003 today and it had both. It had rotors up front and drums in the rear.
it the most dumbist qustion ever
How do you. Bleed tear brake
Drums not rotors on a 2002 Dak, probably the same on the 2003
I believe the four cylinder has rear drums and the six has disc brakes.
