Depends on what you have. Need full model and serial number.
Another member has informed me of what oil to use (Mobil 1 10-40), the appropriate oil filter wrench (0420-0577) and the oil filter (Onan 122-0836, NAPA 7398, WIX 57398).
For the Onan Microlite 2800 series generator, it is recommended to use 10W-30 or 15W-40 multi-viscosity oil, depending on the operating temperature conditions. Always check the owner's manual for specific oil recommendations and ensure the oil meets API Service classifications. Using the correct oil type helps maintain optimal performance and longevity of the generator.
I believe it has two 40 gallon gas tanks up front, with a 30 gallon gas tank in the rearnext tothe Onan generator.
An Onan 4kW generator typically uses 10W-30 or 15W-40 engine oil, depending on the manufacturer's recommendations. The oil capacity is usually around 1.5 to 2 quarts (1.4 to 1.9 liters). It's important to check the specific model's manual for precise oil type and capacity, as variations may exist. Regular oil changes are essential for optimal performance and longevity.
put a fuel line cleaner in it like start your engines...or put WD-40 in it
The maximum amperage capacity of the 40 amp generator is 40 amps.
A 40 kVA generator refers to a generator with a power output capacity of 40 kilovolt-amperes. This measurement indicates the apparent power, which is a combination of real power (measured in kilowatts, kW) and reactive power. The actual usable power will depend on the power factor of the generator, typically ranging from 0.8 to 1.0 for most applications. Therefore, a 40 kVA generator can provide between 32 kW to 40 kW of real power, depending on the load and its power factor.

Your question is a little vague, but here are a couple of ideas for you. The carburetor float is adjusted incorrectly. The carburetor was modified, or replaced with a modified part that doesn't meet the original carburetor specs. A test you can perform to determine if it is the carburetor causing the problem would be to drive the car for 5 miles, then stop and remove one of the spark plugs. It should be a clean leaning to a gray color. Any black sooty stuff on the plug means too much fuel coming from the carburetor. You also need to make sure you did your part correctly. Are all of the vacuum lines connected and in the original positions? Spray some WD-40 around the carburetor while running to see if there is a vacuum leak. The engine will change rpm if there is. Adjust the idle mixture if you haven't already. The carb shop would have set it to manufactures specifications, but may need to be adjusted to your car.
