How do you remove fuel lines from gas tank on a 2003 Chevrolet silverado?

You will have to drop the tank down a little to get to them. Also you have to be very carefull because the fittings and the nipples on the fuel pump are all made of plastic. Once you get the tank down enough to see the fittings you should see a small window like area on each side of the fitting. Inside those windows is the plastic retainer. Just push both down at the same time and the line should slip off. On most of them the line is black and the little retainers are gray in color.
