To remove the backup and tail light assemblies from a 2012 Nissan Quest, first, open the rear hatch and locate the access panel on the inside of the vehicle near the tail light. Remove the screws or clips securing the panel and gently pull it away to expose the tail light assembly. Disconnect the electrical connector from the assembly, then remove the nuts or bolts holding the tail light in place. Carefully pull the assembly out and set it aside.
