This will usually take a few hours, be very carefull not to damage the clutch basket while R&R
1.Remove the side fairings and drain the oil, remove the oil filler plug (dipstick) 2. Remove the clutch cable holding bolt and disconnect the cable from the arm 3. Remove the bolts holding the right crankcase cover, pill off the cover (this will be messy, oil will leak out) 4. remove the dowel pins and gasket at this time (may need a razor to scrape the gasket off) 5. Loosen the clutch lifter bolts in x-cross pattern in 3 steps (slowly not all at once) 6. Remove the bolts, lifter plate, springs, rod 7. Unstake the clutch locking nut. Here comes the hard part with out a special clutch tool 7. You have to hold the pressure plate down from spinning and loosening up while loosening up the clutch center nut (you may want a buddy to help you and be carefull not to damage the basket) 8. remove the lock washer, thrust washer, center, and 2 springs 9. remove the disks and plates.
Before you put it back together, now is a great time to check your bearings etc. Hope this helps!

How much does it cost to replace the clutch on a 2003 Honda Accord?

I had the clutch replaced on my 2003 Honda Accord (2.4 l) by a service shop. The cost was $ 1168 (which was broken down as approximately $ 568 parts and $ 600 labor) I had gotten 3 phone quotes, a quote from my Honda dealer service shop which was $ 2040, and one more quote from a clutch shop which was $ 1600. The car has 196,000 km on it. The clutch is working perfectly now.

How do you change oil seal behind clutch on 600 grizzly?

To change the oil seal behind the clutch on a Yamaha Grizzly 600, first, remove the clutch cover by unscrewing the bolts and carefully taking it off. Next, pull off the clutch assembly, ensuring you note the order of any components. Remove the old oil seal using a seal puller or flathead screwdriver, then clean the area before installing the new seal, making sure it's seated properly. Finally, reassemble the clutch and cover, tightening all bolts securely.
