Use a very large hammer and a punch to try to move the axle relative to the hub. If it won't move at all, then it is seized. This is very common on mopars. You must replace the spindle/knuckle and the axle as well as the hub and bearing. Remove all as a unit and install new ones.

If you can get the axle to move even just a bit, use a hammer to try to get the hub to move away (outwards) from the knuckle. Alternate between one side (forward) and the other(rearward) to make it come out straight. If it won't move at all, try using a chisel to get it started.

How do you replace a front wheel bearing on a 2000 Hyundai Sonata GXE?

AnswerRemove the wheel, and then remove the brake assembly then remove the rotor next you will have to remove the front axle. Once this is removed you will now be able to see the bearing now you have to remove the housing that the bearing is located in it should be 3 bolts that hold it in place once you get it free you then need to have the old bearing pulled out by a hydraulic press and then have a new bearing pressed in. Most machine shops are able to remove and press the new bearings in once the new bearing is in just reassemble everything. This is a time consuming project.
