Found this out the hard way... take it to a dealer, and it's going to be expensive. On the 2000's, they used a number of different motors; the way it was described to me was that they grabbed whatever motor was in the parts bin on the line. My dealer re-ordered the parts twice before they got the right motors.

How do I replace the alternator on my 1999 Kia Sportage
of course it will, there all the same motor from 1995 thru 2001.
You can replace your Kia's Sportage fuel tank at most Kia dealerships. Most general mechanic's can replace the fuel tank.
wiper arbor shaft or wiper support shaft
It is important to have functioning wiper blades on a car. To replace the wipers, a person must slide the wipers off the hook, and properly dispose of them. Next slide the new wipers on, or over and into the hook, depending on the wiper hook type.
already answered under 2000 kia sportage.
a 97 kia sportage does not have an inertia switch (what ford motor company calls it).
You will need to locate a few wires that are located on a small plate between the heater and air system of a 2002 Kia Sportage. The resister pack rests there and can be removed and replaced to fix the blower.
That appears to be a dealer-only Kia part. I do not see it in aftermarket catalogs.
