Remove the passenger side front tire, then remove the black plastic molding around the inside of the fender. The sensor will almost be eye level if you're sitting down with the car jacked up a bit. It is towards the back of the engine, with a black plug and three wires coming out of the plug. There is just one 10mm both holding it in place. Remove the bolt and the sensor should slide right out. Just slide the new one in and plug it back up. You may have to undo your negative battery cable for at least 10 minutes to reset the code. It's a very simple procedure that just about anyone can do. The hardest part is finding the sensor to begin with, in which case I assume this will work on all VQ40DE engines which are in some Frontiers, Xterras, and Pathfinders 2005-Present.
The Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) is mounted on the top of the transmission bell housing. Assuming you are talking about the 3.3L V6.
I paid $229.00 at a Nissan dealer
i have replace the crankshaft sensor but the code cannot be erased
hi, my friend the cost to replace the oxigen sensor depends if you go to the Nissan dealership is about $120.00 for one oxigen sensor or you can go to the discount auto parts, will cost $70.00 and it's easy to replace. you can do yourself and save a lot of money!! but make sure what sensor is not working because your Nissan pathfinder have 4 oxigen sensor. one before the catalistic and one after the catalistic. but Nissan pathfinder have two catalistics.

The knock sensor for most Nissan V6 engines is located directly under the intake manifold. So to replace it, you have to remove the intake manifold. Good Luck.
