To replace the driver side fender on a Ford Escape, start by disconnecting the battery and removing any components obstructing access to the fender, such as the wheel well cover and front bumper. Unscrew and unbolt the fender from the chassis, typically found beneath the hood and along the side. Carefully remove the old fender and position the new one, securing it with the same bolts. Finally, reattach any removed parts and reconnect the battery.
