To replace the fuel pump on a 1994 Oldsmobile Bravada, first, relieve the fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump relay and starting the engine until it stalls. Next, disconnect the battery, then remove the fuel tank by unbolting it and disconnecting the fuel lines and wiring harness. Once the tank is off, access the fuel pump assembly, remove it, and replace the old pump with the new one. Finally, reassemble everything, reconnect the battery, and check for leaks before starting the engine.
It is part of the fuel pump. You remove the tank and replace the pump.
in the gas tank. you have to remove the tank to replace the pump.
yep if just like my 94
I have a "94" apv. The fuel pump is in the fuel tank and is one of the simpler ones to replace, and reasonably cheep at $60.
it very well could be a fuel issue like a bad fuel filter or a clogged sock, bad fuel pump if you replace the pump always replace the filter
in the gas tank - lower the tank to replace
There is no "reset" switch for the fuel pump on that 94 Blazer. If the fuse and relay for the pump are good, chances are the fuel pump has failed.
Unless there is an access panel above the fuel pump in the trunk, which I doubt there is, unfortunately the answer is YES.
The fuel pump is in the fuel tank.
It is located in the gas tank. The tank will have to be dropped in order to replace it.
where can you find the fuel pump relay on a 94 plymouth acclaim?
Look for an access panel above the fuel pump inside the car. If there is one you can access the fuel pump there. Otherwise you will have to drop the fuel tank to remove and replace the fuel pump.
