first you must remove the belt using a 15mm and breaker bar on the tensioner. drain all of the fluid out of the reservoir. i have used a shop vac and a tube long enough to reach the bottom of the reservoir to drain the fluid out. then you must loosen both of the lines attached to the pump. once you have removed both lines, then go back to the front of the pump and remove the 3 bolts holding the pump against the motor. pull the pump out through the bottom of the truck and then repeat steps starting with last one first to replace. use atf+4 to fill reservoir.

Take it to a garage.
To fix a cracked power steering pump reservoir on a 2001 Dodge Durango, first, drain the power steering fluid and disconnect the reservoir from the pump. Inspect the crack; if it's small, you may be able to use a strong epoxy or plastic welding kit as a temporary fix. For a more permanent solution, it's advisable to replace the reservoir with a new or used one, ensuring proper sealing and reinstallation before refilling the fluid. Always check for leaks after completing the repair.
