on my 92 xj6 there is 2 alam key bolts behind which have 2 black plastic caps you need to remove.pull them off undo the alam keys which will losen the brakes then i pulled the metal wire thing of the front part.not sure but it must be nearly the same with rears which i will be attempting soon.
There is a device that works with your brakes to help the brakes,it is a servo pump that has gone out on your car. Mine went out too but I am strong so I just use the brakes without the servo pump.
