Take it to autozone. They have a hand-held scanner they hook up to your computer to read any codes and can reset it to make the light go out. Same thing happened to me and I called them. They'll do it for FREE.

There is no change oil light on a 98 sentra. The light you are seeing is a low oil pressure light. check your oil if its good then the oil pressure sensor is bad.

Take off the negative battery cable all night while you sleep, it should go off but you do have to drive it so long before you can get it inspected again because the computer will be able to tell you have done this. I think its around 40 miles.
