Use a suitable epoxy or sealant specifically designed for metal and oil applications, applying it generously over the hole and smoothing it out. If the hole is larger or the tank is significantly corroded, consider using a patch made of metal secured with a strong adhesive or mechanical fasteners. Always check local regulations and safety guidelines before attempting repairs, and consult a professional if necessary.
