It's probably one of the belts that's slipping a little. Replace, retension or there's an anti slip spray you should be able to buy somewhere who sells industrial supplies.
"Squealing" is usually from the belt or brakes. use belt conditioner to stop a squealing belt.(usually sold at walmart) you can probably figure out how to stop squealing brakes. but if not they need to be replaced. people need to start reading those owners manuals the car comes with.
Glazed or loose fan belt?
Worn serpentine belt and/or belt tensioner.
Loose or worn belt(s).
you probly have a belt slipping, a can of belt dressing should stop the sound
Have the brakes checked.
usually loose belts.
That's actually the preferred method. You hook up the jumper cables and attempt to start. If the car does not start immediately, you stop cranking and you start the other car, let the other car charge the first car for a bit, and then retry with the other car idling.
The squealing noise from your car's AC when you turn it on could be due to a worn-out or loose drive belt, which may need to be replaced or adjusted by a mechanic.
Yes, I would say so. -Investigate and cure the squealing before driving far.
Why would you assume that the dealership is the best place to take your car for service? Ask your friends to recommend a better place to take your car. There are lubricants that go on the brake pads to stop the squealing, apparently, this is not working in your case.
id say check the belts. not a car expert though
