There are 2 slots the front of the radio, one on each side. To remove the radio insert the removal tools and pull the radio out. The removal tools look like flat metal keys with rings on the end for pulling the radio. You can get them from the dealer or possibly NAPA autoparts. This process is also described in the Haynes Repair Manual on pages 12-8 & 12-9.
