To test the ignition coil in a 2005 Ski-Doo Summit 550F, first, disconnect the spark plug wire and remove the spark plug. Use a multimeter to check the primary and secondary resistance of the coil; the primary should read around 0.4 to 0.6 ohms, while the secondary should be approximately 6,000 to 10,000 ohms. If the readings are outside these ranges, the coil may be faulty and should be replaced. Additionally, you can perform a spark test by grounding the spark plug against the engine while pulling the starter; a strong blue spark indicates a good coil.
Check the coil, as that is where the spark comes from.
The 2005 Chevy Trailblazer has Coil-On-Plug ignition coils so there are 6 "coil packs". Each one is mounted on top of the spark plug.
Do you have C.O.P. ( coil on plug ) If so, under the coil.

No. 2005 is link and coil. 1990 is leaf spring.
This is how I diagnosed my 5.4 liter coil packs, I isolated the cylinder that was misfiring and then took a know coil from a good cylinder and swapped with the suspected bad coil. When the misfire went to the specific cylinder I swapped, I replaced that coil. Note- It is advised to replace all coil packs if you can afford too! Summit and Stylin has Hi performance coils for the fraction of cost as a single cost of the dealer's price.
On a 2005 Kia Sedona, the ignition coil is located on top of the engine, near the spark plugs. It is typically mounted on the valve cover, with individual coils for each cylinder if it's a coil-on-plug design. To access it, you may need to remove the engine cover and disconnect any wiring harnesses attached to the coil.
They are under the coil packs. The coil packs are near the valve covers, and go into the intake manifold.
On a 1993 Eagle Summit, the ignition coil is typically located near the engine, mounted on the intake manifold or on the firewall, depending on the specific engine configuration. It is usually a cylindrical component with electrical connectors attached. To access it, you may need to remove some engine covers or components for better visibility. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for precise location and replacement instructions.
It does have a coil pack. Its where all the spark plug wires all connect to on the top of the engine near the drivers side firewall.
each spark plug has its own ignition coil on top of the plug, like many current cars.
How do I replace the heating coil in a 2006 Grand Caravan? I have no heat it only blows cold air.
