at the side of the saw theres a cover, that you remove and inside is 2 screws you adjust the chain by turning the screws adjust the chain until theres just a little little slack
NO NO NO NO NO, don't remove the cover. I don't know who answers these questions but i have owned about fifty different saws and I've never seen one where you remove the cover. (i own 14 saws now and am a logger/arborist).
So leave the cover on, LOOSEN the nuts on the cover, you don't even have to take them off. Then ther should be a bar adjuster screw. either a whole in the cover, on the otherside of the bar (in between the bar and the inside dawg) or sometimes even on the bar itself. it will be look like a slotted screw you just use a screwdriver).
The Stihl 064 is a 84.9cc chainsaw.
sprocket worn out, chain brake on....does chain turn free by hand?
How many cc in a Stihl chainsaw
20 inch upto 25 inch
.325 pitch
Some Stihl chain saws have an adjuster underneeth the saw to turn up the oiler .
Not satisfactorily. The 021 is a lightweight saw.
The chain size of a Stihl 025 chainsaw typically uses a 3/8" pitch chain with a .050" gauge. The specific model often employs a bar length of 16 to 18 inches, which can also influence the chain type. Always check the owner's manual or the specifications on the chainsaw for the exact chain size and compatibility.
To measure the chain length on a Stihl chainsaw, you need to count the number of drive links on the chain. First, remove the chain from the guide bar and lay it flat. Count the drive links, which are the small, flat links that engage with the sprocket. The total number of drive links will determine the appropriate replacement chain size for your chainsaw model.
The chain is referred to a 3/8" extended pitch. In Oregon it is a 91, in Stihl it is a 63.
