the easiest way is to remove the air filter box.
I also remove the plastic engine cover (which just pulls off) for better access
Use DOT3 brake fluid. It is written on the top of the fill cap.
The 1994 Ford Probe has a brake fluid reservoir that should be mounted on the drivers side firewall. Remove the cap on top to add fluid.
On top of the Master Cylinder, driver's side, near the firewall.
It's the bottle under the bonnet with the cap and a wire on it.
You top off brake fluid when the brakes are changed. If the brake fluid is low there is a reason. Get them checked out at that time. Most auto technicians will not top off brake fluid for this reason. The fluid lasts as long as the breaks.
You add brake fluid to the mastercylinder that is under the hood on the drivers side on the firewall close to the hood hinge. It will have a top that snaps off and it should have a line in it that will let you know when it's full.
Power steering should never go down unless there is a leak found in the system. Therefore, you generally would not need to top up your brake fluid on a ford Focus.
Drivers side. Near firewall, on top. Cylinder with a black lid.
In a 1990 LX it is the round container with the black top on the driver's side of the firewall.
Just in front of the driver's position inside the engine compartment is a big round thing, with a fluid reservoir on top. This is the master cylinder for the brakes, and the reservoir is for the brake fluid.
Reservoir on top of the master cylinder on the driver's side next to the firewall.
To top up the brake fluid on a Ford Freestar, first locate the brake fluid reservoir, which is usually found near the back of the engine bay, close to the driver's side. Remove the reservoir cap and check the fluid level; if it's low, add the appropriate type of brake fluid (typically DOT 3 or DOT 4) until it reaches the "full" line. Ensure not to overfill, and replace the cap securely. Always check for any leaks or issues if you frequently need to top up the fluid.
