If the tire pressure is correct, the sensor should turn off by itself after a brief drive. It will not turn off if the battery is bad in one of the sensors mounted inside the wheel or there is some other problem with the sensor.

Most 2004 Freestars use tire rotation to sense changes in tire pressure. If you have TPMS system then these are part of the valve stems inside your tires and will need to be changed by a mechanic.

Is there a fuse I can remove for the ford explorer tire sensor
I believe that is the Tire Pressure Monitoring System telling you that a tire is low. If this is the case the odometer screen should be displaying "Tire Reset" instead of your mileage. I will tell you that I own a 2004 Ford Freestar SE and have found that warning light to be incredibly unreliable. It worked properly once and ever since has given me trouble. When I have a flat tire it doesn't tell me and when I don't have a flat it tells me that I have one.
Once the pressure in the affected tire is correct the light should reset itself after a few minutes of driving. It might not reset if a sensor battery is depleted or a sensor is defective. That will likely require a dealer visit to correct.
On a 2007 Ford Explorer : ( NO ) the spare tire does not a sensor for the Tire Pressure Monitoring System ( TPMS )
This means you have low tire pressure on one of your four tires, so adjust tire pressure as needed.
To remove the spare tire, you will need to have access to the space in the rear of your van where you may be storing items, or have folded in the third seat. If you lift up the carpeting, you will see the turnbuckle that allows you to lower the spare tire from the underside of your van.
