Use the wiring from the monsoon amp behind the spare
I put an aftermarket system in my intrigue, and don't recall a "stereo accessory wire". Do you mean the power antenna wire? Or is this a wire on your aftermarket box? Here's a GM diagram: http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/GM-Wiring.pdf
you need to buy the wire harness for the car itself then you need to connect it to the stock wire harness, after that, you need to go ahead and strip it and wire it to your new CD players harness and then you will need to screw in and install the new head unit.-Shocker
Somebody please answer this i am also having a problem. if i wire the aftermarket radio it does not even power on. but if i put the stock radio back in it works. could this be a problem with the ground? Help!
buy a wiring kit and a mounting kit. wire and mount done
there is no accesory switch wire on the 02 malibu.....you must run your accessory wire from your aftermarket radio to the thick brown wire coming out of the ignition to the left of the radio bay and put a fuse in the wire close to where you tapped into the brown wire on the wire from your radio also your door chimes will work again
The wiring diagram has four wires. Brown wire for parking lights, green and yellow wire for for stop light and white wire for common ground.
if you have aftermarket stereo it is very easy pull the stereo out of the dash and take your rca wires and plug them in to the back of the stereo and then take your blue wire which is remote wire and conect it to the remote wire on the back of the stereo, from there you rum the wires to your amp. ground the amp and hook up the sub to the amp and you are good to go. hope this helps.
no you do not. not even if you have the rockford fosgate package. you just wire up the aftermarket harness(95+ nissan) make sure you connect the blue/white wire. that will turn on the factory amp.
What I did was take the mirrors off the aftermarket mirror's, remove the motor and four wire connection. Take off the stock power mirrors, removed the mirrors, took out the stock motors and wire harness. Installed the stock motors and wire harness into the aftermarket mirrors. Plugged the wire harness back in, wired up the lights and turn indicators on the mirrors and they are working just fine.
There is a wire to the stereo that has power all the time ( straight to battery ) so that it retains its memory. This wire is disconnected, broken, or faulted somewhere. If it is an aftermarket stereo it might never have been connected. In the stereo wiring harness there should be one wire that has power with the ignition off, that is the one it will connect to for memory. If there is not one start checking fuses and wire continuity.

if you bought a kit there should be a small blue wire that has a posative and negative terminal to it...there should be a hook up at the back of ur deck with the terminal openings where the wires will connect...the wire might not be blue but in most cases it will be.. after that its easy to hook up to the amp
