To reset a Dodge Viper alarm system, start by disconnecting the vehicle's battery for about 10-15 minutes to clear any faults. Reconnect the battery, and then insert the key into the ignition, turning it to the "On" position without starting the engine. Press the valet switch (if equipped) or follow the specific reset procedure outlined in the owner's manual for your model year. If the alarm persists, consulting a professional or the dealership may be necessary for further assistance.

To jump-start a Dodge Viper, first ensure both vehicles are turned off. Connect the positive (red) jumper cable to the positive terminal of the Viper's battery, then attach the other end to the positive terminal of the donor vehicle's battery. Next, connect the negative (black) cable to the donor vehicle's negative terminal and attach the other end to an unpainted metal surface on the Viper to ground it. Start the donor vehicle, let it run for a few minutes, then attempt to start the Viper.
