On the average 100 thousand mile, I seen them over200K if what pick performance change ever 60k and you gas mileage will be more efficient.
Standard plugs are about a $1.50. Platinum plugs are about $4 and iridium plugs are about $7.
Don't do it. Bosch Platinum +4 plugs are not designed for your Ranger. Use the correct Autolite plugs. I believe they are called "dual platinum" or something like that.
Typically if you do not want to change plugs every couple of years the manufactures recommend platinum plugs. This is because platinum last longer , however it does not spark as good as some plugs because platinum is not a good conductor of electricity that is why companies like Bosch's makes platinum +4 with 4 electrodes to get more spark . They cost allot more .When you see the companies advertising you don't have to change your plugs for a 100,000 miles they use platinum. If you would like a hotter spark i would personally use Auto-light plugs they are good you will probably help your fuel mileage but they may need changed every 2 or 3 years depending on your driving habits the types of fuel you use and so on. Hope this information helps!!. Dwayne
I don't know what the "best" are but I am running Bosch Platinum 2 plugs and I like them. The box says "If you don't feel the difference, Bosch will pay for the plugs". I'm running Platinum 4 plugs, they fire better than the Platinum Twos but a little more pricey. I think they're 7 something a plug.
If these are platinum plugs, they sell for $18.99 a pair in Canada. I don't know what they would go for in the States, but I would think they are cheaper.
The last person of the Elite Four in Pokemon Platinum is Lucian, the master of Psychic-type Pokemon. After him is Cynthia, the Champion.
Need a universal joint and a long and short socket extension. 4 out of 6 plugs aren't bad except the last two on the right. you will have to disconnect some items and you can't get them from underneath (I've tried)
Stick with Bosch...It's your best bet. Try to get something platinum if at all possible. Like Platinum 4's....however they run about $60 after tax for the 4 of them. NGK makes some nice plugs too.... Iridium is the newest technology in plugs, so that may also be a route you want to explore..
The original only lasts about 4 years. Go to Sears and get a Die Hard Platinum ($200) and it will be good for at least 8 years.
Plug leads should last 3 or 4 times as long as plugs. They do not always abide by the rules, however. If you are running wonky and new plugs doesn't fix it, try new leads, it often works. If it does, put the old plugs back in with the new leads. I bet you will have a spare set of fresh plugs for another day.
how long does as eon last i needit 4 school asap thanks
