Replace it every 50,000 miles.
Replace your fuel filter every 50,000 miles or as recommended in your owners manual.
If it has a replaceable filter replace it every 50,000 miles.
If it is replaceable then replace it every 75,000 miles.
Some vehicle manufacturers recommend fuel filter replacement at 30,000 miles. Always replace the fuel filter at the vehicle manufacturer's recommended mileage listed in your owners manual. If you have no manual, replace it at the very least every 36,000 miles, or whenever you replace the fuel pump.
You don't check it anymore that you check an oil filter. You just replace it at a certain mileage. I replace mine every 50,000 miles. If the filter is built into the fuel tank they you never replace it as it is a permanent filter.
I recommend every 50,000 miles.
they say to replace every 3000 miles...
Replacing the fuel pump is not a schedule maintenance item. You replace the fuel pump when it fails. However, you do need to replace the fuel filter at a regular interval. I recommend you replace the fuel filter every 50,000 miles if it is replaceable. A partially clogged fuel filter will cause the fuel pump to work very hard to pump fuel to the engine. This will cause the fuel pump to fail prematurely. So replace your fuel filter every 50,000 miles and you may never have to replace the fuel pump.
I recommend you replace it every 50,000 miles.
A partially clogged fuel filter can cause the fuel pump to work harder and in the end cause premature fuel pump failure. Due to how expensive it is to replace a fuel pump, I recommend you replace the fuel filter every 50,000 miles. Cheap insurance against pump failure.
You just replace it at the interval listed in your owner's manual or every 50,000 miles. If you are having problems and suspect the fuel filter is clogged, just replace it.
Replace it every 75,000 miles.
