answer is simple if you dont plan on keeping the car long!! drill a hole through the shaft and throught the wiper and install a pin or bolt and nut!!!! Be careful as some of these screws are hidden. HINT: to make this job a lot easier, remove the hood, I know, it sounds crazy, but trust me. Not sure if pivot come separately..(from dealer), but you could price out the whole linkage as an assembly.
