what type automatic transmission fluid for Allison at 545 ? I would suggest using Allison Transynd, "synthetic fluid" allisontech
Not from the factory, but some owners have retrofitted the AT 545 models into them.
545 meters is 1,788.1 feet.
No, unless you want a voided warranty. No, the 65rfe has more gears in it.
NO, certainly not. I'm not aware of any oem application like that, but there are adapter manufacturers such as Advanced Adapters or similar that might be able to help. It would make no sense. A properly built 4L60E or TH400 can handle more torque than the Allison is designed for, and is a lot lighter, too. An Allison 545 weighs almost 300 lbs. The Allison is also not designed to turn at the RPMs a gas V-8 can run at. It's designed for slow-revving diesels.
To add hydraulic fluid to a Ford 545 tractor, locate the hydraulic fluid reservoir, which is usually found near the rear of the tractor. Remove the fill cap and use a funnel to pour in the appropriate hydraulic fluid, ensuring you check the fluid level with the dipstick or sight gauge to avoid overfilling. Always refer to the owner’s manual for specific fluid recommendations and procedures.
