You can expect to pay about $5 for replacement line for a Poulan Pro trimmer.
Homelite string trimmers are inexpensive brand that you can probably buy at home depot. Depending on how much trimming you have to do in your lawn, should help you decide on how much you want to put down on a trimmer. I suggest going with a Stihl trimmer or a Poulan Pro. You can probably find a bottom of the line residential unit from these brands for about what you would pay for a homelite maybe a few dollars more, but worth it.http://www.weedwackerstore.com

For optimal performance, use the recommended amount of trimmer line as specified in the user manual or by the manufacturer. Using the correct amount ensures efficient cutting and prevents strain on the trimmer motor.

Brake line replacement can cost anywhere between $60.00 to $150.00. That also depends on what type of car you have and the shop that is going to repair the part.
On the Poulan website, the product that one would expect to find are mostly gardening tools. This includes lawn mowers, chain saws, and tractors, and much much more.
If one is wanting to purchase a paper trimmer they come in a wide range of sizes and qualities. One can purchase a small paper trimmer for a low cost of about $35 but for a better and higher quality paper trimmer one could pay about $800.
You can use a string trimmer to clean up smaller hedges that aren't too woody, but you would get a much cleaner job with a real hedge trimmer. A string trimmer will cause shredding, instead of the clean cut of a hedge trimmer. There are several string trimmers on the market with split shafts that allow you to add additional tools. You may wish to try one that has an optional hedge trimmer attachment.
Braided line is the best!!Braided line is much better then the cheap, crappy line that is supplied with a trimmer. The supplied line is much cheaper, but you can not edge or cut around fences without the line snapping. Braided line is awesome depending on the thickness you use. If you are planning to have a perfect job trimming your lawn I would recommend a gas trimmer, you can pick a cheap gas weed whacker for about $70, and then upgraded to a braided string. The braided string cost about $10 depending on the thickness and size of spool. Braided string is worth the cost though!!Yes the star, or braided line, while more expensive, is superior to any other line currently available, though the quality of the specific line will vary depending on manufacturer. The reason for it's superiority include the fact that a round, an oval, or even a square line, (square line, though hard to find, is available), has a lower tensile strength than the braided line. this is due to the design of the string. To keep the answer a little more simple, what type of edge cuts a steak most effectively, a round one, or one that is pointed? Along with this, the braided line has bulk, (size, or diameter), and multiple points where the sharp edge(s) make contact, whereas the oval line only has two.
Beard trimmers are available in a wide range of prices. One can acquire a basic beard trimmer for less than twenty dollars, or can spend upwards of one hundred dollars for a more sophisticated trimmer.
I don't have the manual, but this worked for me. 1. You need .065 trimmer replacement line. Any hardware store will have it. 2. Unplug the trimmer. 3. To remove the spool, turn the trimmer over and look at the bottom of the cutter head. On the sides are two small panels with 3 chevrons on them. Push in on these and pull the cover off. The spool should come out easily. 4. The spool has arrows showing the direction of rewinding the string (clockwise). 5. This is a two-string trimmer so you have to wind two pieces of string. Looking down on the spool (with lettering on top) start with the upper slot. Inside the slot are two holes, each on opposite sides. Push a small amount of string into this hole in the direction of the arrow. Then begin winding string on, also in the direction of the arrow (clockwise). The first bit of string you put in the hole should act as a "hook" so the string doesn't come out. 6. Don't fill the slot too full. Leave about 1/4 or 1/8 inch of free space. When you are done, cut the line and use the notches on top to hold the line while you do the lower slot. 7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for the lower slot. 8. Drop the spool back into the trimmer. Thread the string through the holes in the head one at a time. One string for each hole. You'll need at least 2 inches of line sticking through the hole. Don't worry about too much line, the trimmer will cut it too the right length. 9. Snap the cover back on. 10. Plug in trimmer and go.
