battery factory grant is 10 years. I think you can be happy within 10 years.

Umm, not quite. Warrenty coverage and life are two different things. Your car doesnt die after the 3 year warrenty ends, neither does the Toyota Prius Batteries. The fact is no Prius batteries have been replaced due to them dying. Replacement has occured due to accidents and defective batteries however. The Prius battery is NOT one big battery it is a battery made up of 12 units, so if one should fail they would just replace that unit. You should expect the batteries to last over 15 years. Warrenty on the Batteries is 8 years or 100k except in California where I believe is is 10k years 150k.

How often do i need to change the battery for a Toyota Prius?

Since 1998 no Prius have had battery replacement due to "wearing out". So far only accidents or defective batteries have been replaced. Keep in mind the Prius does not use one big battery either, instead it is 10 or 12 smaller batteries in a long casing. If one should deplead they would just replace that unit. Toyota expected the batteries to last 8-10 years but are now finding out they will last much longer. They only way to really test it is to let time go buy and see.

How often do you have to replace the battery for a Prius?

There are two different batteries in the Toyota Prius. There is a small 12 volt battery used for powering up the computer and powering the 12 volt accessories in the car. The other is the high voltage battery. The small 12 volt battery lasts on average 4 or 5 years. This battery is usually trouble free, unless you don't drive your prius very much. I believe these run around $150 USD. The lifespan of the high voltage battery varies. I saw one go bad at around 90,000 miles. Another prius made 150,000 on its high voltage battery. Expect to pay about $3,500 USD for one of these. Both of these batteries can only be purchased at your local Toyota dealer.

How often do you need to drive a prius to charge batteries?

The Toyota Prius is a hybrid vehicle that uses both a gasoline engine and an electric motor, which means it doesn't require frequent charging like a fully electric car. The battery charges automatically while driving, especially during braking or when the gasoline engine is running. Generally, driving the Prius regularly will keep the battery charged, but if it's left unused for an extended period, it may require a longer drive to recharge the hybrid battery adequately.

How often do you change timing belt on Toyota Prius?

The 2004 and later Prius models do not have a timing belt, so the answer for them is "never". They use a chain, which should only be replaced when major engine work is done or if it breaks, which could be 150K miles or more. I'm not sure if the pre-2004 model has a belt or not, but if they do the change interval will be in your owner's manual.

How often do expect to replace the batteries in a Prius?

The Prius is used as a taxi in several large cities (New York). Many of these taxis have over 150,000 miles and have had no problems with their main battery. I haven't seen any reports on the replacement of the 12 volt battery.

Toyota Prius commercials often feature a variety of artists and songs, but one notable artist frequently associated with the brand is the American singer-songwriter Janelle Monáe. However, the specific artists can vary depending on the campaign, so it's worth checking individual ads for the latest music featured.
