push the axle out, drop the wheel assembly. undo the bolts that hold the pads, pads fall out. you may have to gently, with a flat screwdriver, pry the piston open. install new pads, tighten bolts, replace wheel assembly. note, the caliper piston will likely need to be in the full open position (see above) to re-install the wheel assembly. be sure when you do this you dont forget the chain adjustment blocks and that they rest solidly against the adjuster bolts before you tighten up the axle nut. dont over tighten. depress brake pedal a few times to pump the piston back to proper position. do a few hard controlled stops (no skidding) from speed to seat the pads to the rotor. then you should be good to go.
