I had a big oil leak in my 93 4.3 Blazer when I bought it and it turned out to be the remote oil filter block on the engine where the oil filter normally would go. There was a big O-Ring that was broked allowing oil to leak past it. I got an oil cooler repair kit from NAPA and it had the O-Rings to replace the broken one plus the oil line O-Rings. I had to remove a strut that went between the oil lines and remove the oil lines from the adapter so I could remove the adapter from the car to clean it and replace the O-Ring in the block.

Standing in front of vehicle, it is on top and just to the right of the plastic engine cover. Round cylinder about the size of human fist. Use your hand and unscrew. One of the easiest oil filters to access in all of automobile land. The O rings are located on the stalk going from largest at the top to smallest on the bottom. Remove and replace with new.
