look under your driver side rail of the truck, follow the line till you run into it, pull off the lines and replace, beware that you will get a blast of gas in your face if you dont try to hold a cup or something under the line, there is built up pressure and i learned the hard way, really not hard to do takes you maybe 10 minutes to replace.

You only change the fuel pump when it fails. But do change the fuel filter every 50,000 miles.
The fuel filter on a 1990 Chevrolet Corvette is changed by unscrewing the fuel line from both sides of the filter and removing the retaining clips. The filter can then be removed and a new filter put in its place.
You will have to remove the fuel tank are raise the truck bed up to get to the top of the fuel tank. The fuel filter is inside of the fuel tank and it will come out of the top of the tank.
if you cant figure out how to unbolt it you shouldn't be trying to replace it
Should change the filter at least 2 times a year. Remeber the fuel is always being pasted thru the filter. But if you get to it once a year that is better then not doing it.
Fuel filter is integral with fuel pump. Why would gm do this stupid change so now if filter blocks need to change pump and all. for $300 plus labor instead of $10 dollars and 10 minutes of labor
Fuel filter sits on the inside rail just a foot from the drives door. undo the claps and reattach the new filter. Arrow in the filter goes to the front of the truck.
