you have to go at it from the bottom. I have had several irocs and this is how you do it. Take off the front wheels and reach up from the inner fender well. You can't seen the plugs but you can feel them. It takes time but it's the only way. they can be changed from the top, you need a ratchet, 5/8" spark plug socket and a collection of diffrent sized extensions, just pull the wires loose then fit the socket over the plugs and take them out, when putting back in, tighten by hand until firm then use wrench for 1/4 turn more.
Most likely your wires are crossed.
a 84 camaro z28 would have a v8 450 hp engine.
if you have an 84 z28 camaro it has a 305 or a 305 h.o. 5.0L
any size Chevy engine you want to put in it will fit, you just have to change motor mounts.
190 hp
I had that problem in my 84 and it turned out to be the cable itself
I don't know thats way I ask
They're the same motor
Hi, visit www.thirdgen.org/cd_oct_1984_iroc_camaro_z28. Details of speed etc for 84 camaro. should not differ much. My 84 z28 with a 305HO topped at 136, and my 91 rs with a tbi 305 topped at 131. Both had a 5spd.
It came with a 305 HO motor. I have one.
yes it will but you will have to change the engine wiring harness over, or change the 7.3L glow plugs over to the 6.9L style and change the glow plug controller as well
Double check the firing order making sure two wires are not crossed. You may have cracked a spark plug during installation.
