there is no easy way. i have the same problem. you'll just have to use a flat head screw driver to pry it off and hope for the best...good old American inj.:>}
They snap off from the top, not the bottom as it would first appear.

There are two clips holding the cover on the box, undo these and you will see the filter sitting vertically in the box, replace it, put the cover clips back in place and replace the plastic box that was removed first.
looks like plastic box with 4 clips around it to the right of the engine close to the battery I belive on the 3.0 V6. push out clips to remove top cover, remove old, insert new. Only goes in one way. Your OWNERS MANUAL may have a thing or to to say about this as well.
It is on top of the engine. You have to remove the air filter assembly and the cover between the heads.
If there isn't a removable access, you do not have a cabin filter.
