Install a SolaTube or a like commercial item - they don't cost that much and add more light that you can imagine
Yes, if your at the a dealer who sells your brand of car they will be able to install a sunroof. I've personally experienced this before.
Connect the sunroof motor with the sunroof motor retaining bolts. Connect the sunroof linkage. Connect the wiring harness to the back of the sunroof motor.
I do not know how much it would cost to have a factory sunroof installed by a dealer, but I expect it would be a lot more than a a respectable body shop would charge to install an aftermarket one
anything is possible but I think it would be more trouble than its worth.
i dont think you can
Wind back the sunroof to expose the front edge of the panel, unscrew it, and remove the panel. Fit the replacement sunroof panel into the cranking mechanism, align the sunroof, and install againÊthe inner lining. ThenÊpush the trim clips along the inner lining up into the holes at the front of the sunroof panel.Ê
it costs about 400 dollars if you have the right car and they can install it no problems.
If you hear the sunroof motor trying to work it is usually a piece of the weather stripping that gets stuck in the pathway of the retraction. Or an area of rust and loss of lubrication grease to allow for it to roll back.
i would like to know the layout of the sunroof. thank you.
To replace the lift arms on a sunroof, first, ensure the vehicle's battery is disconnected for safety. Remove the interior trim and any necessary panels to access the sunroof mechanism. Disconnect the old lift arms from the sunroof and motor, then install the new lift arms by reversing the disconnection process. Finally, reassemble the interior trim, reconnect the battery, and test the sunroof operation.
If you have a 1997 Camaro with a custom sunroof and need help making it a functional sunroof, you should check into getting an operating motor. A sunroof would ordinarily be able to pop up with the help of a motor.
To replace the sunroof on a Nissan 240SX, first, remove the interior headliner by carefully prying off any trim and unscrewing it from the roof. Next, detach the old sunroof assembly by removing the screws or bolts securing it in place. Install the new sunroof by aligning it correctly and securing it with the screws, then reattach the headliner and any trim pieces. Finally, test the sunroof to ensure it opens and closes properly.
