They are excellent tires, Yokohama is not a cheap tire company.
Mirada Tires are made by Yokohama Tire. I would say Michelin are better.
Hercules make excellent tires.
a flat rate
Tires are pro-rated based on the amount of wear they have. This is largely determined by the depth of the treads.
Tubeless tires still loose air when punctured, just at a slower rate.
its what ever your tires are rate for... look at the small print on your tires and it will say the recommended psi
Well you have to have the same gear in the front and in the rear of any set of axles so the tires spin at the same rate other wise you would wear your tires out from then skidding all the time, and or brake the transfer case gears...
AS good as it's tires. DSC, ABS, TC, are all useless if you don't have a good set of SNOW/Winter TIRES!
Costo sells tires for cars at a discounted price and will put them on the car. If one does not have a Costco card or live near a Costco, Les Schwab has a good reputation for selling tires and will sometimes sell gently used tires, which you can buy at a discounted rate.
Assuming that the car has four tires, those four will wear at roughly the same rate, so you would have to replace 4 tires at 36000km, leaving one as the spare for the next set.
sears.com charges about $90 to $120 for Cooper STT tires that are 235/65/17. You can see the rate at http://www.bizrate.com/automotive-tires/wrangler-at%2Fs-411154177-lt215%2F75r15--pid1794722528/
There are numerous things that could cause shifting problems. Have the vehicle checked for trans codes first. This will neither verify whether the VSS is good, as well as the MPS in the trans, and solenoids. Typically, I don't run into electrical problems with these, I see internal failure. DanAnswerIt can also be as simple as having different size tires on the front than you have on the rear. Or, even if you bought only two tires instead of a set of four. My 4x4 Jimmy was in a small "altercation" and the insurance company only replaced the two front tires. It would jump (hard) into 4-wheel-drive since the rear tires were spinning at a different rate than the front tires. I changed all four tires and the problem was eminated.
