P0455 is evaporative emissions system large vapor leak. It has nothing to do with EGR.
You could have a loose gas cap, broken vapor hose, or a leak in the fuel tank. Anything that would let gasoline vapors escape could turn the light on.

They all have to do with evaporative emission system leaks. You probably have cracked vaccuum hoses under the air cleaner box, and possibly under the van at the charcoal canister.

dtc codes are generic p0455 means "Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (gross leak) " this will cause "check engine light to come on" and is usually that the gas cap is loose and if tighten will cause the check engine light to go away after driving the car for 3 normal driving trips.
