Check your alternator and your connections form the battery to the Starter. You may just have a bad connection
If that does not work, your solenoid on your starter has gone bad, a new solenoid or starter may be needed.
Check the start switch on the clutch pedal if so equiped.
Check spark plug wires, and voltage on the distrubutor.
Check all wires for loose or corroded fittings. A loose or corroded connection can work one day and not the next. My first guess would be the wire to the starter solenoid is loose.
The battery on a Toyota Yaris is changed by lifting the hood, loosening the battery cables, and placing them to the side. A new battery is put in place and the cables reconnected.
The 1996 Toyota Camry starter is located near the front of the engine, at the bottom. You can follow the positive battery cable from the battery to the starter.

Remove the positive battery cable from your 1997 Toyota Corolla battery. Tighten the starter with the retaining bolts. Attach the cables to the front of the starter. Reattach the positive cable to the battery.
I had a CD stuck in the CD player. When I had the battery changed, and the battery was disconnected for about 15 minutes then reconnected, I was able to eject the CD!
The battery in the key fob of a Toyota Sequoia is changed by using a coin to separate the two halves. The coin style battery can then be pushed out and a new battery put in.
