Probably not. The engine needs spark, fuel and compression to run, you are missing one of those. My guess would be the engine is not getting fuel.
you don't, you buy a chevy.
It doesnt matter what the dealer charges for the plugs, its what he is going to find broke and ream you out for that other stuff.
Change air filter and clean or replace spark plugs
Change the plugs at 100,000 miles or earlier if the engine is not performing as it should.
According to the owners manual, they have platinum plugs that should be changed at 100,000 miles.
you asked about the v4 engine but the contour had a v6 or an inline 4 but no v4 ,,,,plugs on these cars are under the valve cover lid and should take only a few bolts holding it on. but if you've never done this before leave it to a pro since they can be tricky as the spark plug can pull its threads out ...
coil pack bad, or wires could be faulty/old should replace them, or the sparkplug itself could be bad try replacing plugs & wires and start from there
If they are platinum plugs, should be every 95,000 to 100,000 miles.
If using standard copper core spark plugs, every 30,000 miles. If using platinum plugs, up to every 100,000.
when do you change spark plugs
You have bad spark plugs and or cap and rotor
The original plugs should be good for around 100,000 miles ( 160,000 ) kms. Take it from there.
